Playing Cards for Promotional Deck

The creative department at H4B was filled with talented people who don’t just push pixels during the day. We liked exercising our creative muscles outside of work too. In fact, the more creative our extra-curricular activities were, the more inspired our in-house design often was. Artists, musicians, illustrators, and photographers all came together to create a deck of cards promoting the diversity of design at H4B Catapult.

I decided to try my hand at painting simple, vintage tattoo-style, illustrations of our twin boys and dogs. Starting with pencil sketches drawn during the warm summer months, I composed the rough painting on canvas.

Then, I moved into Photoshop to add the final touches in coloration and composition. The deck has done well as a self-promotional tool for the creative department at H4B.
