Identity Design
Samples across a range of industries
A powerful brand identity is crucial to any business.
Whether amplifying an existing brand, designing an identity for a new business, or redesigning a brand to bring it up to date, I enjoy the process of getting to know the customer’s vision and helping bring it to life. The logo gallery shown here displays a range of identities I’ve created over the years. Below this are more in-depth descriptions of specific projects.
Amy Lynn Andrews
Amy is one of these people who is always doing 75 things at once. She came to me needing a logo, but also needed a book cover design, a website design and help advertising her new book about time management. After working with her for over a year, I felt like I learned a thing or two about time management myself, out of necessity!

Byrd Photography
The design of this logo came together perfectly when I realized that Rebekah Byrd’s signature looked a bit like a bird itself. With a little encouragement, the final design is a graceful representation of both her gentle, sensitive and unique style of photography and the memorable name “Byrd”. The bird-like “B” lends itself to the watermarking necessary for a professional photographer.
Roc City Cafe Riders
I had a blast working on the identity for this vintage motorcycle repair shop in Rochester, NY. Business cards, signage and the suggestion of a rockabilly style button-up to help promote the shop were all part of the package.

Green Law
“GreenLaw International LLC is a law firm specializing in the newly emerging carbon economy, we specifically help clients with matters related to legal issues of carbon forest emission reduction and offset projects. The firm has focused most of its work in the Asia-Pacific area and the voluntary and regulated carbon markets. Despite the difficulties of operating in different parts of the planet, Sarah was great to work with and provided a great brand identity for the firm. She went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with the product, always willing to make those little changes to give us the look and feel we were after.”

Miss O
When a good friend of mine, Odette Di Maio, asked for some assistance creating a visual identity for her new musical project, Miss O, I was delighted to help. The brief was simple: create a logotype that speaks to the dark, mystical side of her music as well as some of the vintage electronics used.

SpeakEasy
As fun side project, I initiated a public speaking club while working at CDMP, similar in format to Toastmasters. Of course we needed a name and a logo! The name and style of the logo lent itself to the informal and fun environment intended for this club.
