Identity and web design
Photokina is the world’s largest tradeshow for the photographic and imaging industries,
happening every 2 years in Cologne, Germany, with over 160,000 visitors and almost 1,500
exhibitors in 2008. Having established a level of trust with our Kodak client due to the success
of their booth at Photokina 2006, I coordinated the efforts of multiple teams (exhibit designers,
graphic designers, and a production company) to provide Kodak with a massive multimedia
installation, imaginative photo sets, product demonstration environments and on-brand booth
design that helped attract attendees and keep them engaged with Kodak products.

When Michelle Brick approached me about creating a website to promote her music business, I knew it would be a fun project. A talented professional musician working in the NY/NJ/PA tri-state area, the website needed to have a strong SEO presence, as well as provide her with a way to manage the content after I completed the initial design. As with many web projects, this also became an identity exercise, as she had no logo or branding elements when we started the project.

The newly designed identity meshes well with her musical aesthetic, and she is happy to report that not only has she been able to manage and update the content of the website easily, it has done it’s job – gaining her numerous new clients and gigs since we launched it in 2014.

Check out the site here and take a listen. I highly recommend her talents!

This is a unique website which will require a more modern browser to work!
